The first post on this site was short — just a quick test and a hint of what will be explored in this corner of cyberspace.
Here, ideas matter — not the person behind them — because ideas should carry their own weight.
Ideas and only ideas can light the darkness.
— Ludwig von Mises
This site isn’t chasing algorithms, engagement, or monetization.
There will be no ads, no sponsors, no clickbait.
It’s here to take the long, intertemporal view across broad topics.
I share only what I find genuinely interesting. Expect essays — attempts to figure things out — covering themes like decentralization, autonomy, free and open-source software, privacy, anti-censorship tools, economics, science, and philosophy.
Above all: the curious, subversive, and unruly mindset of free thinkers.
Since free thinking can only prosper in places immune to coercion and mass surveillance:

We cannot expect governments, corporations, or other large, faceless organizations to grant us privacy out of their beneficence.
— Eric Hughes
Instead of voting, protesting, or asking for permission, it’s better to criticize by creating, as Michelangelo suggested.
There’s no reason to take submissive routes when superior choices already exist — and are constantly evolving.
The first post asked you to ponder subversion and consider building independence from tyranny.
This one gives you context.
Whether or not you agree with these ideas, wisdom deserves attention wherever it’s found — as a foundation for your own logic.
You’re invited to consider what becomes possible when creative individuals produce work — and freely share it with everyone.
Welcome.
